Open book is a particularly refined and luxurious processing that makes your environment classy and totally unique.
The open book milling of marble is a particular technique which exploits particularly veined marbles. The final effect of this processing is that the marble veins run along the surfaces in a specular fashion generating rhomboid shapes.
After the slabs from the same block have been sawn, they then move to the polishing process. In this phase, the choice of which side to polish is of fundamental importance: to obtain an open book finish, the slabs are peeled off as if they were pages of a book, and the specular surfaces are then polished.
This is craftsmanship processing and each creation is a unique piece of work.
